Ahmad Fardid, whom some consider the first modern contemporary philosopher and refer to as the “philosopher of shadows,”was an influential thinker across various intellectual fields. Although Fardid left behind few written works, his impact through teaching, mentoring students, and intellectual debate was significant. This book is a collection of writings and articles presenting diverse perspectives and viewpoints on Ahmad Fardid. It includes notes and essays by Dariush Ashouri, Ramin Jahanbegloo, Abdolkarim Soroush, and Dariush Shayegan. The book also contains excerpts from two stories by Reza Baraheni and Seyed Ataollah Mohajerani, each featuring a character resembling Ahmad Fardid.
